Need to Set Up and Open Personal Folders in Outlook? An Easy Way Out!

Are you in need of Personal Folder for Storing Enormous Emails? For saving your huge number of email messages, you want to create Personal Folder. Using Personal folder, you can save your entire sent or received emails in that folder.

Follow the directions to set up and open your personal folder in Outlook given below:

  1. Right click on the Outlook Icon
  2. Select Properties
  3. After selecting, ‘Properties’ window flashes on your system interface
  4. Click the ‘Add’ button
  5. Scroll down to the bottom of the next screen until you are able to view Personal Folders
  6. Choose ‘Personal Folders’ and then click “OK”
  7. After clicking OK, you will be asked the location where you want to save the file. There are two options for you. Choose one out of the given below options:
  8. The server in user folder (where you and the STC are the only ones with rights to it)
  9. To your hard drive in “My Documents”
  10. Select the location where you want to save Personal folder. Name the folder for the sake of convenience. After you name the folder, it will automatically show the folder name with extension .pst
  11. Now, window will appear before you, accept the defaults and click “OK”
  12. You can easily view “Personal Folder” in that window
