Opening PST files in Microsoft Outlook is not at all difficult task. Microsoft Outlook has .PST extension to folders, archives and mailboxes.

Steps to Open PST Files

To open PST file, follow the steps mentioned below:

  • Select file item
  • Then, Open it
  • Then, you finally reach to Outlook data file.
  • After doing all this, .PST file will open in your Outlook folder by default
Select the Location for PST file: Browse to the location where you precisely wants .pst file to be opened. Select the location.  

Are you Unable to view Personal Folders?

If you are unable to "View" personal folder in the folder list, then follow these steps:

  • Click on view
  • Click on "Folder List"
  • After doing all this, close PST files by right clicking on the personal folder
